Mission work is Kingdom work



Mission work is about demonstrating and sharing the love of God. By meeting the physical needs of others we are able to effectively demonstrate and share the love of God. We want everyone to experience the salvation that only Jesus can provide. We know this starts by loving people the way God loves people. This is the heart of missions. It is our hope that the mission work we do would not become bragging rights but rather, that it would result in many people turning their lives over to Jesus. Here is a snapshot of how we attempt to do missions.



Local Missions...Loving Lincolnton





Jesus told the disciples to start their mission work at home. Our church is trying to do the same thing by prioritizing mission work in Lincolnton. We send volunteers to help at the Hesed House. Our men join with other churches to help build ramps for people in need. We pick up those who need transportation to church. We also built a food closet to help those in need. These are only a few examples of our mission work in Lincolnton. The goal of this work is to do more than just help. Our goal is to demonstrate and share the story of God's love and the salvation each person can receive through Jesus Christ.



NOrth Carolina Missions





We strive to go beyond LIncolnton and serve the Lord in missions throughout North Carolina. For example, we recently sent a team to Warsaw, NC to aid in disaster relief. We also provide financial support by joining in with other churches and funding various mission projects and church plants across North Carolina.



Global Missions





We are committed to sharing the Gospel everywhere. We recently sent volunteers to help a new church in West Virginia and we sent volunteers to help a church in Vermont. In the past, mission trips have been made to various places such as Mexico & Peru. We also financially support missionaries and church plants by joining with other churches across the United States through the Cooperative Program.
